Now I believe that children do need discipline (i.e. timeouts/whoopings/punishment, etc.)-but you DO NOT whoop your child in the SANCTUARY! Churches do have restrooms-take your child there if he/she is unruly. It's bad enough to have to spank your child, but to embarass him/her by doing so in front of the congregation is uncalled for.
And to think that these "parents" actually let the congregation as a WHOLE come and strike their children until told to stop...IMO that is sick
!! I'm not even gonna go there and tell what I really think about this group, because this message would end up being extremely long-but I will say this-when your child has welts and open wounds on their little bodies because you feel that that is the only way to discipline them, you need the following:
1) to open your African American history books to see how the slaves where "disciplined"
2) a psychiatrist
3) prayer
4) TO HAVE YOUR CHILDREN TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU!
