I know I am not a guy, but I want to add my $0.02.

I have 3 tattoos. I love my tattoos. They are invisible. No one can see my tattoos unless I am naked/in my underwear/bathing suit.

The problem with asking other people what they think of tattoos is that you shouldn't. If you have to ask for approval of something it probably means you shouldn't get it.
I didn't get my tattoos because I cared what some guy thought. I didn't get my tattoos because everyone was doing it and I wanted to be cool. I got my tattoos for very personal reasons and I do not regret them one bit. I know when I am old and wrinkly they will not look as good as they once did. But that doesn't matter. I got them for myself and no one else.
If guys don't like that, then that's fine with me. I do not think it makes me trashy. But then again I'm not looking for anyone's opinion or approval.

For those of you who are thinking of getting any tattoos, please make sure you think long and hard about it. Please make sure you get something that's meaningful (not Marvin the Martian tattooed on your a$$) and make sure you do it for you and no one else.

They are not for everyone but they do not make you any less of a lady or gentleman if you do have one. It's your attitude that makes the person, not your body art.

As for the gentleman's club comment, there are many clubs that do not permit their dancers to have tattoos, and if they do they must be covered up.
