You don't know that to be true in this case, do you?

During my undergraduate days, I knew Sammy as a Jewish fraternity. If I had not kept up somewhat with the chapters on my Alma Maters' campus, I would probably still think it is a Jewish fraternity. It is a logical error to make.

That misunderstanding would make the question which is the subject of this thread absolutley logical.

As for the capitalization issue, while you are correct that a religion should begin with an upper case letter, in reality, the subject line here doesn't contain references to two religions -- rather to one religion and one holiday.

While Hoosier should have capitalized both, there may be other reasons why he didn't. They could range from simple oversight to a shift key that didn't work or wasn't held down long enough. I do that all the time.

In my eye, none of this makes him a biggot.
