Well I work for a bank so of course I have the day off. I know the Universities here in Ohio have to day off. I am going to say it is a state holiday here!

Also as a side note my university doesn't give us the observed presidents day off we take the day after as presidents day due to the fact we have MLK day off. The reasoning behind this choice is both holidays typically falls on a monday and they don't want us to miss to much of our monday classes.
