10 years ago tomorrow was the coldest day in Detroit history where the actual temp was -19 with windchills far below that. It was the day I brought my daughter home from the hospital after her birth! I was thrilled to be on maternity leave with one great reason to NOT leave the house for several weeks!

Hmm yeah I remember that one. I woulda been 12 or 13... and prolly sitting in school cuz those damn Downriver school districts do NOT like closing school.
I had to get gas yesterday after class and my face was frozen. My hands were bright red and frozen from being outside for like 3 minutes. I'm at work right now and if someone comes in and wants to see one of the storage units I'll be like SCREW YOU it's too damn cold out, especially to touch metal.
