I know that personally, if a sister from another chapter who was close to my age came up to me, and despite how polite she was, tried to tell me what to do, I would not only probably ignore her, I would be a little annoyed. Maybe it's just because of my stubborn nature but I don't like strangers telling me what to do. On the other hand, I would see what she was trying to do, would feel kind of ashamed and probably wouldn't smoke in my letters again that day.

Although if it was an older alumna, I think I would have more respect for her and put out the cig. But thats just cuz of the whole "respect your elders" thing. If it weren't for alumnae i wouldn't be an Alpha Phi.
