Pam,
Read up on PiPhi's history, their national programs, and ask questions about how it all relates to the chapter. Work in to the conversation how you could help with their scholarship/service/sisterhood/whatever. Don't be cheesy, but sell yourself! It's not a shame to be proud of your accomplishments.
