O.K. first off, please do not ask me where I got this information as I cannot reveal this as I can get someone fired. If you don't want to believe it, fine, you will just see as it plays out. I have seen a letter JER wrote outlining his SK storyline proposal to the head honchos at Sony and NBC. It was written back in July and thus far everything in the outline has come true. The only difference I can see so far is how Tony gets attacked by a tiger. But picking up from there, here is how is plays out in an abbreviated version. Marlena is revealed as the person who injects poison in Tony's IV. As Marlena is leaving the hospital room, Victor arrives to make a deal with Tony about Nicole. While speaking with Tony, Tony flatlines and they cannot revive him. Vistor is now suspected of being the killer. Victor realizes it is Marlena, and Marlena is next forced to kill Victor. It is later revealed that Marlena is once again possessed by the devil. Since Celeste had helped Marlena as possessed before, this is the information the ghosts have been referring to as her holding the key to the serial killings. When she confronts Marlena, she has no choice but to kill Celeste. Hope begins to put things together and confides her suspicions to John. Marlena attemps to kill Hope, and John must kill Marlena to prevent her from killing Hope. Thinking everything is alright, Alice comforts hope, then you see JOhn's eyes are glowing, as the devil has popped out of Marlena and into John. As John goes to kill Hope, Alice stands in front of the devil, giving her life for Hope. Alice's love and unshelfishness send the devil fleeing back to hell, as the angels of many of the past victims come to great Alice and say their final goodbyes to their love ones. They leave a cryptic message about Marlena. John comes to investigate that the killer was not actually Marlena, but Hattie, who with the help of DiMera had once again kidnapped Marlena. And as with the first time Marlena became possessed as DiMera opened up Marlena's soul to the devil by making her his queen of the night, so too was Hattie's soul opened to the devil with DiMera's latest scheme. John, Hope and Bo search to find Marlena, and depending upon Hall's contract status as it is up in August, determines how this plays out.
This is the jist of what is listed in this 10 page outline. From the source I got this from I do believe this to be real. Like I said, the only difference thus far is how Tony is hospitalized in the first place. I think it was changed in light of the tiger attack on the Las Vegas magician. This does pretty much seem like a storyline JER would concoct too as there is very little originality in it. Also listed in the letter are plans to cross some characters over from DAYS and PASSIONS to help increase ratings for PASSIONS as JER really expects the SK storyline to drum up big ratings for DAYS. Being PASSIONS is JER's personal project he wants to see it benefit from his double duty. It also appears that JER agreed to take over HW responsibities for one year at DAYS and continuing after that would be negotiated later.
