Had all four of my wisdom teeth yanked while I was in the Air Force; two were impacted. Had 'em done at Bitburg Air Force Hospital, had to stay overnight because of the anesthesia. When that wore off and I returned to duty, the pain was horrendous, so I went back to the clinic and got more powerful painkillers and 72 hours in 'quarters' for bed rest.
