absolutuscchick: A "Trunk Sale" is like a sample sale. The one I went to was put on by Planet Lulu It's mainly comprised of designer over-runs and department store over-buys. They are held in LA, NY, and SF, but if you sign up o nline, they will sometimes have exclusive sales over the website and they will send you the links via e-mail.
