I always looked at it as "I don't want to go to meetings, why would anyone else"..............

We usually had 3-4 Exec meetings for a few hours time to get done what we needed to do then the events were just fun stuff.

I think I said this to Liz, but our alumane chapter is MUCH more geographically spread out than yours probably is so. We made the Exec meetings less frequent, but longer, so we didn't have to travel the distances all the time.
