Well, if you think 'girly tiffs' can be a problem, consider when you have members of a co-ed group dating, then break up. Then consider that they are officers in said group...

Even in a work environment there are issues with getting involved with co-workers (leaving out issues of harashment, etc between workers & managers). After seeing a similiar issue at work when two co-workers in my department broke up, I felt that dating someone within the same department as 'not a good idea'. Someone in a different department, less of a problem.

Thus the arguement for a 'no dating' clause or policy within a co-ed group. But then you have the 'everyones an adult, they should be able to be mature and work it out' on the other side.
