I'm Laughing so hard right now, I'm surprised I can even type this response! I have 2 name stories, however, I don't think they beat the mama who gave birth to a bar of cognac, hard liquor and more!!! I mean really, Courvoisier and tequila?????
Anyhoo, I had a neighbor growing up who we always called Derek. One day his mom came outside to tell him that the phone was for him, and called him P. I asked him why, and he said his real name started w/a P. Of course I had to go and ask what the real name was, and I really think I should have just left it alone. His full name is.... Parferion Yinka Pachedoux!!!!!!!!!
But wait, his last name is Derek. OK then. She gave me some explanation a few years later that had to do with Dairy Queen, but I really did not want to hear anymore. I knew I was not going to be able to hold it together without bursting out in laughter, so I shook my head and changed the subject.
The second story has to do with a fashion show I was in a few years ago. One of the ladies in the show was asking me if I thought her sons had potential in the modeling industry. I said I would love to meet them and find out, and she brought her twin sons over to me and said she would like for me to meet her sons Martell and Courvoisier!
Oh, my hell!
