Bad idea. What you are doing is dangerous.

How exactly does drinking water with lemon making you regular? You could increase your water intake without fasting to the same effect. Lemon is a mild diuretic, but that's about all.

Eating fiber makes you regular, and it ain't found in water or lemons. Fruit is a source of fiber, but it's also high in sugar as well and not the best choice.

You should talk to a doctor before fasting. Reading up on it is not enough. A book can't accurately judge your physical condition the way a physician can. Fasting is NOT natural, your body does NOT like it and it should NOT be done for any real length of time (like a month). Some morbidly obese individuals do benefit from drastic caloric reduction, but ONLY when done under a doctor's supervision.

Granted you are not starving yourself, but what you're doing could be very dangerous, and in the long run isn't a good way to lose weight. You'll lose it from lean muscle tissues by starving yourself and as soon as you go back to a more normal way of eating you'll gain back every single pound plus more.

Atkins is a hard diet, and not for everybody. Seeing as how it didn't work for you your best bet is not to fast, but a simple scaling-down of your diet. Limit your caloric intake (within acceptable levels), choose lean meats, whole grans and veggies, and eat smaller portions of everything. Don't diet, change the way you eat for good, otherwise it will NOT work.

Making drastic eating changes without a great deal of care and research is impossible to maintain and in the long run won't help you.
