I forget what show I was watching, but after Bush made his first appointment (Colin Powell), some comedian called it his:
"Black People please don't Hate Me" Appointment.
It was funny, but maybe you had to be there... Anyway, I'm a little younger (just turned 20 on Sat.) and a little more stubborn, it is still very hard for me to fathom a Bush presidency, especially after I did everything possible (VR Drives, etc) to ensure that that wouldn't happen. However, in an effort to be part of the solution, I do plan to help with more VR Drives and Get out the Vote campaigns in 2002, and reach out to all those people who still think their vote doesn't count. BTW is it just me, or does GB Jr. not seem too bright?
