I think the best thing that we can do right now is never let society and government forget what happened in this election. This entire situation has been the mother of a million jokes, but at the root of it is lies, disregard, and intentionally institutionalized disenfranchisement. (Do I sound like Jesse Jackson )It really is not a laughing matter, and the more we make the people responsible for the entire situation recognize that we are not going to sweep this under the rug, the more they will realize that we are SERIOUS about reform and responsibility. Hopefully, with that comes healing and reform. People can only get away with what they are not held responsible for. Let us keep all aspects of government aware that we will not allow the loopholes that have existed all these years to politically influence the outcome of another election this important.
Don't worry, soror! Bush will only be there for 4 years. Statistically speaking, the last time a president won the electoral college and not the popular vote was 104 years ago, and the last time a person in this situation was re-elected to a second term was never. Yaaaaayyy!
