When I flew to D.C. I had to do the spread eagle! I think it was because I had a one way ticket. Now honestly, there is NO WAY I look like a terrorist--even a dissident. They also searched my luggage and went through EVERYthing!
I had prepared for it...had a funny feeling, ya know?
Now my daughter is in NY-called me from the Square. She will be flying home out of Binghamton (sp?) so I'm nervous, but not chewing my nails to the cuticle.
I'm not as cynical as y'all. I'm glad they are being cautious-even OVERLY cautious.
