I'm not real sure how or why the sorority would get involved, unless they think you're trying to dodge the debt, and the sorority is another way to put pressure on you.

Call the girl's parents and work out a payment plan or something...I don't know that I would go through the girl. Sure, she's your sister (hypothetically) but money does bad things to people sometimes and KerriMarie is right....if her parents paid for the damage, etc. you owe the PARENTS, not her, so just deal directly with them (also shows maturity...a bonus). Besides, who knows if she gets into some money trouble this semester and doesn't want her parents to know...if you give her the money she could claim to her parents that you didn't pay her back and cause even more problems.

I'd also fess up to your parents and let them know you've worked out a plan with the other parents to pay them back....hiding stuff like this usually comes back to bite you in the rear....

Hypothetically speaking, of course.....
