an update...
talked to my Publix Boy yesterday. He was out of town (he's a skydiving instructor and professional photographer/videographer for the skydiving co.
) and just called to chat while he was in between jumps. Turns out one of my friends knows him - he used to work with her ex boyfriend. She told me he used to be quite the partier but seemed like a fun, nice guy so I teased him a little about that.
We ended up talking for over 1/2 hour - about the most random, random stuff. Stuff to do in Gainesville (remembrances of when Market Street's Thursdays were still cool), people we knew, families, etc. He agrees with me that it is heresy to buy a powerful sports car (i.e., Corvette) and not get stick shift.
