I've NEVER heard of the fiberglass nails, and I'm in the DC area. Knowing the people of the area, it would probably catch on if they did have them available. One thing that's good about nails is that once YOUR nails grow our enough, you cna take off the tips and they can put a gel overlay over your own nails (the same gel they use for gel nails at the ned before you bake), that way your nails will grow and not break. Plus I think if you JUST use the gel, you won't get the half-moon dents in them.
I just get natural colored tips, my nails are natually really pink and with gel, they look really good. But I'm broke most of the time, and can't keep them up like I'd like.
A lot of places now are giving personal nail kits to prevent bacteria and fungus exchange between customers. PLEASE GET THIS IF IT IS AVAILABLE!!! And if your nails begin to raise a little, GET THEM TAKEN OFF so fungus won't grow up under them.
But, I'd wait until school starts, for when you'd need them most.
