Question: If one shouldn't wear white after Labour Day, then what should winter brides wear? What about debutante balls that occur in the winter? The Helicon Ball in Toronto is held in early February. Anyway, my list:
1. Girls and women who dress like they're in a hip hop video, especially if they're under 16.
2. Tattoos and multiple piercings (so I'm an old fashioned gal)
3. Too tight clothes on "larger" women
4. Whiney, Trista Rehn..err Sutter like voices.
5. Sandals with socks
6. That 70s Show hair on guys. Guys, you're not Ashton Kutcher! And even he looks like a dork!
7. 80s hair. I saw a girl on the street today, whom I guess is around 20-22. Her hairstyle looks a lot like the teenaged girl who babysat me in the mid 80s!!!
8. Sweatpants outside the gym and at home.
9. People who wear PJs to class. Geez, don't you have a pair of jeans lying around?
10. Overly done make-up.
11. Unwashed hair and face
12. Guys who don't shave
13. Clothes that don't match, are out of style and just plain yucky, especially if you can afford nicer clothes
14. People who aren't dressed appropriately for certain occasions. The New Year's Eve party I went had a semi-formal dress code. I saw a guy there in a button down shirt and khakis and no jacket. Dude, that isn't semi-formal but business casual!
15. Internet speak outside of chats and messageboards.
ETA:
16. Bad table manners. People who chew with their mouths open, who slurp their soup, etc. I understand that it's considered ok to slurp in some cultures, but it doesn't mean that you can do it in a restaurant that doesn't serve food from said culture.
17. People who keep their cells on at the movies and during meals. Ditto for those who scream into their cells.
18. People who bring their ill-mannered kids to places that they shouldn't really be going to.
19. Guys who don't know how to tie a tie. That's what casual society has done to people. How sad.
20. Very high heels.
