Teeth, to me, are along the same lines... I dont think it's fair to be mean to people for things they can't help. I just didn't want to start on that whole other issue. And I'm sensitive about acne because my old roommate is one of my best friends, and I had to watch her cry allll the time because of people making similar comments to that one - they were treating her badly because of her skin, and she couldn't help it!

I see what you're saying about whiteheads and teeth, etc etc. It's gross and unpleasant to look at. But at the same time, I just think it's mean to call people out on it, when there's nothing they can do about it. When they grow out of it or get it fixed someday, that kind of treatment from other people affects many people for their entire lives. I dont know, that's just me. Maybe I am too naive/optimistic about people's capacity for being nice to other people. Or maybe I do need to lighten up, and just degrade every single person about their genetic flaws. Since this is a thread about superficiality, that makes it okay, right?
