QUOTE-geesh you style police need an update-- that rule is from like 1952-- nowadays of COURSE you can wear white after labor day!!! have you any clue on how hot a pair of tall leather white boots can look with an awesome pair of jeans?? and fitted white leather jackets are great too. PLEASE PLEASE people drop the no-white after labor day... white is an awesome shade!! plus, snow is white, sooo..... lol-END QUOTE

Where I live, people would honestly laugh at anyone who wore white after Labor Day. Just because things are that way where you live, don't assume they are that way everywhere. I am fully aware that there are differences of style and ettiquette in different parts of the country. These days, YOU might be able to wear your white boots or pants and feel no social retribution. But, it's not that way everywhere. Plus, I think it's just tacky. And, I am not from 1952. I am 25. So, it's not just a generational thing.
