Winter white is on off white. It is hard to describe except to say that if you find a "white" sweater on sale in the winter and it does not look "pure" white, it's most likely winter white.
Smiley-- FL is different all together. One of my sisters and best friends was from Plantation, FL. She said it was perfectly acceptable in FL to wear white since it is so warm there.
As for the acne thing, I believe what she was trying to say was that there are people who don't keep themselves clean. There are most certainly a few basic things that people can do to at least aid in their acne problem: washing, using creams, etc. I will admit that it is quite disgusting to see someone who has a problem with nasty whiteheads all over their body and that won't even squeeze them. Yes, some people have problems with acne beyond simply hygenic concerns. But, most people could benefit by cleaning a bit better.
I think it's comparable to the teeth issue. Some people have bad teeth genetically. Some people have bad teeth b/c of hygenic issues. If you are willing to say something about someone's teeth, then I don't think anything should be said to someone who says the same thing about an acne problem.
This IS a thread about superficiality. Yes, some people might be offended by things said here. But, I don't think it's fair to talk about something YOU find in poor taste and to blast someone who talks about something THEY find in poor taste.
