Ugh, that reminds me of the year that we got only one new member through formal recruitment (the most any sorority got was THREE). As we told her when preparing for the next formal recruitment, "We spent 750 bucks to get Nik, and we could have gotten her for free! We love you Nik, but this year we want a few more girls for our buck."
She laughed.
