Sistermadly, I agree w/ you. I think it is easy for people to brush off racism or sexism or ageism until they see it firsthand. I also have learned a lot through the process of "blending" our families. I had to explain to my extended family why I would want to be involved w/ a Greek org after graduating from college. But for the most part, I think the differences that occur in our family our based on having different experiences w/ life in general rather than skin color.
