Ok, since GC has been down since Friday night, I never got to tell my hilarious story. It happened Friday night. I went to downtown Ft. Lauderdale with some old friends of mine. Drunk doesn't even begin to describe how we were. So, we're at this club and they were letting all the girls dance on the bar. My friends and I got up on the bar and just started busting a move. I'm sure we looked like complete idiots since we were so drunk that we could hardly stand nonetheless dance. My friend, Hannah, is dancing next to me. One second, she's busting a move next to me and the next thing I know she takes a complete nosedive off the bar. She's all sprawled out on the nasty bar floor. We help her up and she's in pain. She keeps saying that her ankle hurts. We're all like, "You're fine. Stop being a baby." We bought her some shots to help her dull the pain and keep her from whining. She keeps hopping around the bar and she's not doing such a good job since she's intoxicated. She keeps whining and it was really a buzzkill. At this point, we decide to get a cab and go home. As we're waiting for a cab, Hannah sits down on the pavement outside and lifted her pant leg. OH MY GOSH! Her ankle had quadrupled in size and was this bright purple/blue color. One of my friends was like, "Wow, that really doesn't look good." Instead of going home, we decided to take Hannah to the ER. Imagine 5 really drunk girls in the ER at about 1am on a Friday night. The hospital staff was not amused by us. It's flu season so there's a bunch of kids in the ER with us. They're coughing, throwing up all over themselves, have really bad diarreah. I was trying so hard not to throw up. Hannah keeps complaining that she wants pain meds but they wouldn't give her any because she had so much alcohol in her system. You'd think the alcohol would numb the pain but I guess not. Finally, the doctor took her in. Turns out that she broke her ankle in her crash to the bottom. We all felt really bad since we made her hop around the bar for an hour after her fall. The best was her trying to explain to her parents what happened.
