I am in an interracial relationship. This is my first interracial relationship.
I am an African American female and he is a white male.
We have been together for over two years and we have a 7 month old little girl.
My family is fine with us being together and they accept him as if he was family. His parents are fine with the situation.
We really have not run into any serious issues. Where I live currently there is a lot of interracial realtionships, not to say we don't get people who look at us. But when I go home to Cleveland We get more than stares we actually get people commenting on us.
I can say that this relationship is no different than any relationship that I have had with a black man. You still have the same problems like not wanting to clean up after themselves, not putting the toliet seat down, and so on and so on.
