b/c she went to school here in atlanta, i have heard so many rumors about her: being gay, smoking weed, being very promiscuous...you'd hope it wouldn't be true.....my good friend went to copelands (here in atlanta) on sunday nite, and said that rudy was there promoting this magazine spread...i think it is just kind of a no name magazine. she also said rudy was hugged up and holding hands with some woman.....

Soror, while I respect your opinion, I think that this could be much worse. So what if she is gay, so what if she smoked weed. I just have issues passing judgment and we don't know what this sistah is going through.
At first I though the question would be about the representation of Black women and I read it as such, which is ironic. When I looked back it said Black sorority women. Why not Black women who attened Spelman? I am sure there are a few Deltas/AKAs/SGRjos/ZPhiB women shaking that a$$ for cash somewhere in the world. Sistahs from Spelman who had to do an thang or two to make ends meet. I just take issue with the whole judgmental. thing. It's not like she has on letters or has a DST tattoo or something like that. Truth be told, not many people outside the BGLO/HBCU world even know this woman is a Delta and probably don't care. She did the right thing by going to college and not just staying in Hollywood. Now the bar is raised and if she wants to get in she might have to take a photo or two.
I take issue with the fact that we feel like we have to do these types of things to be and or stay in the industry that wants to typecast and stereotype us anyways not that she actually succumed to the pressure.
Finally, the fact that these photos are then "linked" to her perhaps being a lesbian/bisexual is not cool (IMHO). In Atlanta where one out of 50 African American males is HIV positive, hell she gotsta get her rocks off somehow.
