Where
do I begin?
When people meet you, are they disturbed by your attitude and disposition?
Disturbed? Maybe. Many times, I've been headed somewhere and had people ask me:
"Why do you look so mean?" "Why don't you smile?" Now, before these people (usuallly men)
mentioned this, I wasn't feeling any particular way. Usually, I'm just making my way to a place that I need to be. Does this reflect my character? Aside from glueing a smile on my face every morning, I have absolutely no clue of how to avoid this type of reaction. I feel like if I was
really looking mean, they these people wouldn't have approached me at all. What am I to do?
On your campus or community, are you known as the campus...I'll be nice..."friend" to all or most of the men?
Not at all. That's not to say that I'm not friendly with the men. They're usually very good for intelligent conversation, but I am by no means a campus trick or a 'hoodrat'. The thought of it is ludicrous!
Do you lie, cheat, steal and everyone knows this about you?
Okay, Director
. I've gotta play devil's advocate here. Would it be okay if I did all of these things and no one knew? Regardless, I try to stay away from deceit all around. I'm clear on this one too.
Are you disrespectful to people, professors, classmates, administrators, colleagues and you often display a "funky" attitude?
NOPE. Not guilty. I respect people until they give me cause to do otherwise (which is seldom).
Now, here's where I could use some help:

There are so many pros and cons to EVERY SINGLE DECISION AND ISSUE in the world that I sometimes find it very very challenging to keep things simple. A guy once told me to follow my first mind. I found out that you really have to pay attention to even
catch your first mind. Mine goes a mile a minute. If anyone has advice, please help.
