I am in the process of applying to graduate schools right now. I was only going to apply to about five or six, but my sister and father were pushing me and pushing me to apply to two or three times that number of schools. I really wasn't going to because with application fees of about $75 each, I really can't afford to apply to 15 schools.
Well, for about the past three or four weeks, I have been getting fee waivers sent to me by some really good schools. All in all, I have had my application fee waived at about seven or eight schools. Now, I am applying to schools that I wasn't even considering because I couldn't afford them before.
The Lord is so good to me and when I really think about his grace and mercy it brings me to tears. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that I could have ever done to deserve these blessings but He keeps on sending them my way. He loves me more than any man or woman ever could. Times when my family and friends would have been ashamed of me the Lord was standing right by my side. The tears are rolling down my face right now.
