HC I think she was talking about people in her family and life like her high school teachers wanted her to "pledge" and that SHE was going to be patient and wait for it
HC that's how I read it
HC I see where offense could be taken
HC Shining Star you have to be careful with your words, because even though I dont think you meant to be indiscrete it can be very easy to misread statements
HC you should also be more careful with which words you pick

HC my coworkers and I went to lunch and bowling on Friday instead of working
HC it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun
HC we went to the BEST restaurant- THe Mesa Grill
HC if anyone in the NYC area ever has the caiche to spend (a meal for 4 must have been upward of 200-250 dollars- lucky it was on the school) GO TO THIS RESTAURANT
HC EVERY single bite and drink was FANTASTIC
HC hushpuppy muffins?
HC tortilla chips with a goat cheese dip (this was FABULOUS)
HC spice-encrusted trout?
HC WARM chocolate cake with dulce de leche ice cream
HC did I MENTION those hushpuppy muffins?
HC I kept finding more room because everything kept being delicious!
HC the bowling was fun too
HC I actually did not suck at it
HC I visualized the pins as someone's head and then it was easy
HC I don't know why that sport is called bowling, it should be called "toss big balls at stuff"

Then it is a great power, and fights small powers, but pretends that they are great powers, in order to rekindle the ashes of its ancient emotion and vanity.-- G.K. Chesterton
