You know what's funny? I walk in the house, and walk to my bedroom on the other side of the house to take them off. lol. Seems to defeat the purpose, doesn't it?
My boyfriend's mom is Californian (I consider it a country, haha), and she is NUTS about taking your shoes off. I don't think she even likes me wearing them on the welcome mat.
