When I was a staff member on the Gore 2000 campaign, the Asst. Volunteer Coordinator was an AOPi from Ohio State I believe. One of my interns was an AOPi from Vanderbilt. And, another intern there was a Sigma Chi.
I KNOW the other interns were almost all Greek, but those are the ones tht come to mind.
Most of the other staff members seemed to be the type who would be "above" joining a GLO. That sounds bad. But, you could tell they thought less of me for being a staff member/sorority girl.
Just goes to show that stereotypes are still alive and well.
