Here is a great item! I bought this pin from the estate of Colin Powell's Sister in law. She was a librarian here in Birmingham. The chapter guard is for Howard University-the founding chapter for this African American Sorority in 1913. This is an old Delta Sigma Theta Sorority pin with chapter guard. The chapter is Howard University. It is marked 14 kt. also B. Williams. Pin is in excellent condition with all seed pearls intact. Please email me with all questions before bidding. If this was my piece and I was unsure about the specifics (the chapter it was from), I wouldn't put them in the descrption. Does anyone care that it was from the estate of Colin Powell's sister-in-law?? I guess they thought that it would make it seen to have more importance. (??)
