Bobby Brown is being called a deadbeat dad by the mother of two of his children.
Kim Ward was in a Boston court Dec. 5 claiming that Brown, who's married to Whitney Houston, owes $40,000 in child support for
Laprincia, 14, 
and Bobby Jr., 12. She claims the singer is missing his monthly $5,500 payments, according to her lawyers. Brown's rep declined to comment.
Meanwhile, a source close to Brown tells us he's trying to make amends with Houston after being charged with battery for hitting her in an argument.
The source said, "Whitney did something healthy. She called 911. It was a public cry for help."
