I doubt it. It looks like the MAP only comes in one level of hormone, while different pills contain different amounts of hormones. I would imagine that taking an incompatible level of hormone regularly and repeatedly, as one does with BC pills, would be very detrimental, while taking the MAP rarely (which is it's OTC intent) would not be as harmful.
