#3 Oklahoma vs #2 LSU

I think a 2 round playoff is the only thing we can ever really expect to happen. Only trouble is that it's only 3 games. So which BCS bowls get to host the championship playoffs?
They might rotate it.
I think the rest of the bowl system could be successful with a very small playoff system. What I'm not in favor of are games that detract from the importance of the regular season.
Look at college basketball. Right now, does anything matter while teams are playing OOC? Nope. They're playing mostly directional schools and a few marquis matchups to rake in the $. Record doesn't mean crap 'til you're in conference.
Once in the tournement, your conference/OOC doesn't mean crap except for seeding.
