I'm not attacking you-- It does suck that w some conferences having a championship game and some not makes it not a level playing field. I wish we did in the pac 10 to be honest, we'd have slaughtered WA state AGAIN and silenced some of our dissenters.
I think OU is a good team, but so are LSU AND USC. We are ALL deserving of it and the way it is is just the way the cookie crumbled.
What I don't believe in is computers who don't watch games making the decisions. We all have arguments why OUR team is best and why the other should not be there. And I think we are all, in our own ways, RIGHT.
But consider this, USC plays one less game than OU and LSU. And it took one more game for LSU to amass enough points to jump us? Am I bitter, no-- I think LSU is a great team and who I am rooting for. I'd be proud to share the title with them, they've conducted themselves with class. I've not been impressed with Bob Stoops' comments in the media, but that's not your or the team's fault.
ALL THREE TEAMS had great seasons.
THe Spoiled Children thing IRKS me. Is it true-- HELL YES. Who at a $40K a year school is not spoiled? I went to private and prep schools my whole life, I've dealt w that moniker for ALL of my alma maters. But it was MY CHOICE to go to USC and YOUR CHOICE to go to OU-- I do not call you or your fellow Sooners names and I would appreciate it if you'd leave the Trojans alone too.
Consider this--Are people so against USC because of all the media coverage we are getting and it almost all being slanted towards us being robbed? I can understand that, you feel your team deserves it, and you do. ALL 3 DO, that is the real point here, that the system could not predict a scenario to deal w this. Or maybe it did--Its called a split championship, I hope LSU and USC. GEAUX TIGERS and FIGHT ON TROJANS!
