Forgive me for crashing your board too! My sil is a DG and perhaps my niece will be next year (although AGD would be terrific!) lol.
DG may have program similiar to AGD. Does your chapter have a promissory note system? AGD has a money assistance program called Sisters Income Supplement (SIS). Please check into see if DG has a similar program.
Unfortunately, DG may have a policy of if a collegian wants to go inactive, she has to be financially up-to-date first.
I know you can't discuss specifics here but perhaps DG has a way to become reinstated when you get back on your feet.
