Not to mention a lot of fraternity hazing issues.
But I think that the UW gets help from the fact that a lot of sororities like having chapters at Big 10/Big 12/SEC/Pac 10/Ivy schools. Especially the Big 10 and the SEC and the Ivy League, from what I've seen.
National HQs, for better or for worse, will cut a lot more slack for a school at Wisconsin than for one at, say UW-Platteville. What can get a chapter at Bucknell closed down might only get a chapter at Princeton or Bama a couple semesters of probation.
