Rapper Jay-Z is desperate to start a family with superstar girlfriend Beyonce Knowles.

The hip-hop couple is usually very reticent about talking about their relationship, but Jay seems to find it hard to hide his love for the Crazy In Love beauty.

The Big Pimpin' singer, who is retiring from performing to allow more time for his personal life, reckons he's the "luckiest man in the world."

Jay-Z says, "I love Bee with all my heart. She's the most important part of my life.

"I feel as if I am the luckiest man in the world. Children are the only things I don't have now. I absolutely want kids."
