Not really. Dean really isn't as liberal as much of the media has made him out to be, and he's certainly not as liberal as Nader.
As TKE said, Dean is about as left as Bush is right, if that. I think the issue is that what is considered "moderate" by the media has swung to the right in recent years. Ten years ago Dean would have been simply "liberal," not "too liberal."
