I did research it. I was gung-ho Atkins for a month or so. I lost weight very quickly; about 10 lbs in a week and then it got slower. When I left induction and added more carbs into my diet, the weight packed back on as fast as it came off.
You do have to be willing to live low-carb for life; not induction low, but pretty damn close. I was up to maybe 30g carbs a day when the weight came back as fast as it went away.
Right now, I eat whatever I want, just in small portions. I've lost 15 lbs and the weight continues to fall off.
