We can't be positive that it was a Mountain Lion but there are that many things that can move a large carcass that far. There is no way it would have hurt itself because once you loose that much blood and organs your can't move any further. The Carcass was drug from the pen to the creek by Mountain Lion. The only other thing that could have done it is coyotes and they are not quiet. They chatter and make a lot of noise. Fish and game has been out a couple of times in the past 6 months warning everyone with livestock. My parents don't have any so they never worried too much.
