I'm sick... and finals start next week!
apparantly the flu is hitting hard this year.. there have already been over 1000 reported cases in Dallas alone, and I think that is far more than their yearly average. They've also been saying something about mutated flu strains, so the flu vaccine isn't combating all the strains.
ETA: after going to the website and checking to see the "local flu report" for my city, we are WAY above national average. hmm.. that's comforting
