I personally think they're a good idea to show the new members with the older members watching with them. That's what our chapter does but it's primarily for the new members.

Since most new members are freshmen and most are naive in general, they are the ones that need to be informed on what hazing is all about. The video is just a reminder for the older girls even though they've seen the video before.
