I had a few DZ touches at my wedding. While the guests were being seated, one of my sisters sang a song we used to sing at my chapter. I can't remember the name but it went "A golden lamp and a pale pink rose, two symbols of a love that grows. with faith and temperance and courage strong and the will to oppose all she thinks is wrong. These then are the symbols dear, the ones the carries year to year. And when from this life she goes, she'll carry a lamp and a pale pink rose" Of course, no one who wasn't a Delta Zeta understood the meaning really, but it is a pretty song.
Also, I had a little extra piece of fabric sewn into my gown and I pinned my big's badge there. It was my "something borrowed"
I would have liked to incorporate rose and green into the color scheme somehow, but honestly that isn't really a favorite color scheme of mine!
