It's a great thing when the Yankees/Sox rivalry spills over into the postseason. I don't think the rivalry has been this red hot since the 70s. It's a wonderful thing for baseball.

If Vasquez can handle pitching in N.Y., that's a good trade. Hopefully he doesn't end up being like Ed Whitson.

I do like Nick Johnson (who is Phillies manager Larry Bowa's nephew, BTW) although he's a little short on the power at a power position. Sort of Mark Grace-esque.
