Singer Peabo Bryson is not looking forward to this weekend. The popular crooner owes the IRS $1.2 million in back taxes and they are planning to auction off many of his belongings. Over the summer The IRS raided his Atlanta home and the auction is taking place this weekend. Some of the items being auctioned off include everything from designer clothes, a grand piano, dishware and Grammy Awards. Peabo has two Grammy Awards. His first one was his 1992 duet with Celine Dion, "Beauty and the Beast," and his 1993 duet with Regina Belle, "A Whole New World." The 52-year-old singer is currently touring the country with "The Colors of Christmas" production.
The Vanguard Media Group has filed for bankruptcy and they are shutting down the operations of Honey Magazine, Heart and Soul Magazine and Savoy Magazine. In a shocking move, CEO Keith Clinksdale announced that the company has run out of money and they are going out of business. Keith used to be the head of Vibe Magazine. I loved Honey and Heart and Soul Magazine. These magazines were very informative and they had great features and articles. The current editions on newsstands now are the last that will be published.
Prince may be headed to the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame but this has not stopped his weird behavior. Prince decided to venture out one night to a New York nightclub and it took his handlers 20 minutes to coax him out his stretch limo. Once Prince got inside he decided to sit in a booth by himself and stare at the ceiling for an hour.
Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore are going to be on The Young and The Restless. The married couple will be performing on the show December 23rd, at Neil and Drucilla's wedding.
Look for CBS News to announce the arrival of their new news correspondent, Ed Gordon. Ed used to work for BET News and now he will be filing reports for 60 Minutes Two.
